Mount Kare is located approximately 3 miles west of Wrightwood on Highway 2.
Our driveway is on the north side of the highway across the street from the exit of Mountain High's West Resort.

From Los Angeles:  Mount Kare is about 20 minutes from Interstate 15.  Take Interstate 10, the 60 freeway or the new 210 extension East to Interstate 15 North.  Exit West on highway 138 toward Wrightwood, Phelan, and Pinon Hills.  At the Mountain Top Cafe, turn left onto Highway 2.  Travel through the village of Wrightwood and we are located about 2.5 farther up the highway.  We are located on the right (North) side about 100 yards before the Big Pines Visitor's Center.

From Orange County:  The new toll roads have made travel from South Orange County much easier.  Take the 91 freeway to Interstate 15 North.  Exit West on highway 138 toward Wrightwood, Phelan, and Pinon Hills.  At the Mountain Top Cafe, turn left onto Highway 2.  Travel through the village of Wrightwood and we are located about 2.5 farther up the highway.  We are located on the right (North) side about 100 yards before the Big Pines Visitor's Center.

From the San Fernando and Antelope Valleys:  Take Interstate 5 to Highway 14 North.  Exit Pearblossom Highway and take highway 138 (Pearblossom Highway) east.  Turn right onto Largo Vista Road at the "Tanks Alot" yard.  Turn left onto Big Pines Highway.  Follow Big Pines Highway up the mountain and turn left onto Highway 2.  We are located on the left (North) side about 100 yards past the Big Pines Visitor's Center.

From San Diego:  Take Interstate 15 North.  Exit West on highway 138 toward Wrightwood, Phelan, and Pinon Hills.  At the Mountain Top Cafe, turn left onto Highway 2.  Travel through the village of Wrightwood and we are located about 2.5 farther up the highway.
